CEO Thought Leadership

I managed the Medtronic CEO’s engagements at the World Economic Forum (WEF) for two years, which included comprehensive prep for top-to-top meetings, panel discussions, and interviews. I wrote this thought leadership article as a follow up to WEF to further amplify Medtronic’s expertise in neuroscience and health equity, which were key topics at the 2025 annual forum.

Public Issues Messaging

I helped Zillow develop its first-ever public issues framework which defined when, where, and how the company should communicate with employees about sensitive public issues (e.g., elections, mass violence). It included a tiered response strategy based on business impact, brand alignment, and employee sentiment. The result was a clear, cross-functional decision-making process and a more consistent stance for weighing in on key issues, which employees appreciated.

During my time at Ecolab, I led U.S. internal communications for COVID-19, developing communications plans for vaccination and return-to-office efforts, messaging for weekly CEO videos, and new communication channels to ensure employees and leaders received the right information at the right time. I also wrote the CEO’s public-facing message following the death of George Floyd.

Change Management

Due to the confidential nature of change management and internal communications, many of my projects aren’t publicly shareable. However, I’ve worked on M&A, RIF, re-organization, and compensation communications across a range of industries. I’m happy to provide high-level insights and discuss my experience in more detail — feel free to connect if you’d like to learn more.

Additionally, I volunteered my change management expertise to AK Connection, a Minnesota-based nonprofit that provides programming for Korean adoptees. This resource guide, which is similar to other change management FAQs and guides I’ve created, outlines key resources to help adoptees navigate post-adoption services, which is a rapidly changing landscape.

Internal Communications Audits

At Zillow and Ecolab, I spearheaded internal communications audits to refine employee-facing channels and content. This included a comprehensive review of channel performance metrics, a survey, and qualitative interviews with key internal audiences. I produced actionable insights which secured leadership and cross-functional buy-in to improve channel mix and update editorial focus areas. At Zillow, this resulted in a 15pp increase in employees’ understanding of corporate strategy.
